Bishop Burbidge Announces Three Pastoral Appointments

Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge, Bishop of Raleigh, announces the following Priest assisgnments:

Effective July 8, 2008

Reverend Carlos N. Arce, Administrator of Saint Andrew Mission, Red Springs, is appointed full-time Vicar for Hispanics with residence at Saint Michael the Archangel Rectory in Cary.

Very Reverend James F. Garneau, V.F., Pastor of Saint Mary Parish, Mount Olive, and Dean of the Newton Grove Deanery, is additionally appointed Diocesan Director of the Office of the Permanent Diaconate.

Reverend Patrick Keane, is appointed Pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Newton Grove.

Bishop Burbidge expresses his gratitude for the generous priestly ministry of The Reverend Monsignor Michael G. Clay as Director of the Office of the Permanent Diaconate and The Very Reverend Patrick Keane as Vicar for Hispanics.
