Position Summary:

St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School is seeking a caring, responsible, and energetic individual to serve as a Part-Time Aftercare Assistant. This position supports the safe supervision and engagement of students in our after-school program for grades PK3 through Grade 8.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervising students during indoor and outdoor activities
  • Assisting with snack distribution and cleanup
  • Supporting homework time and enrichment activities
  • Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School education or higher. 
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented.
  • Commitment to upholding the mission and values of a Catholic school.
  • Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks.
  • Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training prior to start date.
