Position Summary:
St Catherine of Siena Catholic School in Wake Forest, NC is seeking a 5th Grade Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept the mission of the school as articulated at the Diocesan and school level.
- Implement the educational mission, philosophy, goals and objectives of the school.
- Plan, prepare, teach and interact with students in person in a professional way that challenges students to reach their Individual potential while celebrating the ability levels of all students.
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Education, ideally with a specialization in Elementary Education
- At least one year teaching experience.
- Employment is contingent upon applicant passing criminal background (Diocesan) and reference checks
- Must complete Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NC teaching license or equivalent from another state.
- Practicing Catholics who have previous teaching experience
