Position Summary:
We seek an innovative and mission-driven educator to join our dynamic faculty. As a Math II & Calculus Teacher, you will:
- Teach Math II and AP Calculus, ensuring students develop critical mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Lead a structured study hall, supporting academic achievement and skill development.
- Foster faith formation and social-emotional learning (SEL) by leading a homeroom and participating in student retreats.
Key responsibilities:
- Design rigorous lessons that engage and challenge predominantly first-generation, college-bound students.
- Integrate Ignatian pedagogy to create meaningful and reflective learning experiences.
- Use data-driven instruction to assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies for success.
- Support holistic student development, helping them grow academically, spiritually, and as committed citizens.
- Collaborate to develop instructional strategies and interventions that enhance student learning and well-being.
- Engage in continuous growth, participating in weekly or bi-weekly coaching sessions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree (required) Master’s Degree (preferred).
- 1-5 years of related work experience: Experience teaching high school math, preferably in a college preparatory setting.
