Bishop F. Joseph Gossman Award

The Bishop F. Joseph Gossman Award has been established to recognize those individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Catholic education in the Diocese of Raleigh. This annual award serves as a way for the diocese to pay tribute to persons who contribute extraordinary service to Catholic education. Through their generous gifts of time, talent, and/or treasure, these honorees represent the essence of what it means to give of oneself so that others may benefit. The award is named in honor of Bishop F. Joseph Gossman, who has served as the Bishop of Raleigh since 1975.
