Diocesan Coordinator of Hispanic Family Life, Catechesis and Adult Faith Formation. The Diocese of Raleigh, NC, a growing, vibrant Diocese, seeks highly motivated candidates for the position of Coordinator of Hispanic Catechesis and Adult Faith Formation.

Responsibilities include assisting parishes by developing, coordinating and administering an effective and comprehensive catechetical ministry program for both children and adults. The Coordinator provides leadership and supervision of Faith Formation leaders involved in this ministry. He/she works with Hispanic Ministry Division and in collaboration with all the members of the Department for Catholic Formation and Evangelization to promote the growth of the Catholic faith in the Diocese.

Requirements for the successful candidate include a bachelor’s degree in theology, pastoral ministry or related fields (master’s preferred), and a minimum of five years ministry experience. Practicing Catholic and fully bilingual (English and Spanish).

Promoter of Hispanic Ministry in the Newton Grove Deanery. The Diocese of Raleigh, NC seeks highly motivated candidates for the position of Part-time Hispanic Ministry Deanery Promoter (20 hrs. per week) to work in Newton Grove Deanery (6 Counties). The Promoter implements the Diocesan Pastoral Plan in the Deanery and promotes sharing and mutual support among the parishes by organizing regular Deanery level meetings of leaders in the Hispanic communities. Position also accompanies and encourages Hispanic participation in liturgical and other ministries through recruitment of volunteers, organizing meetings and training workshops.

Requirements for the successful candidate include being fully bilingual (English and Spanish), able to work in a team environment, able to work with a variety of cultures, able to drive distances, willing to work a flexible work schedule including weekends, willing to participate in on-going formation, preferably with previous ministry experience.

Bi-lingual case manager. Temporary, full-time position (through December 2010) at Centro La Comunidad in Burlington, NC. Provide case management/family support services to the Latino population in Alamance County. Position will provide direct services to individuals and families; conduct pre-K assessments; refer families for appropriate resources; coordinate financial literacy education and goal-directed work with families; facilitate support group and other group activities.

Bilingual Clinical Counselor (English and Spanish). Catholic Charities’ Durham and Raleigh offices are seeking a FT bi-lingual clinical counselor to provide individual, couple, family and group counseling services. The clinical counselor will work half-time in the Durham office and half-time in the Raleigh office, with some evening hours required.

A Master’s Degree in a mental health/counseling field is required; LCSW preferred.

Educational Support Specialist.
