Benefits

The Diocese of Raleigh prescription drug plan is provided by Medco in conjunction with the medical benefits offered by the Christian Brothers Employee Benefit Trust. Employees and covered dependents must be enrolled in the diocesan medical plan in order to participate in the Prescription Drug Plan.

The prescription plan benefits are as follows:

Retail - Co-pay (30 day supply):

• Generic - $10 or 25% whichever is greater
• Preferred (formulary) - $25 or 25% whichever is greater
• Non-preferred (non-formulary) - $50 or 25% whichever is greater

Mail-in - Co-pay (90 day supply):

• Generic - $20
• Preferred (formulary) - $60
• Non-preferred (non-formulary) - $125

If an employee cannot use their Rx card at a pharmacy (i.e. does not accept Rx plans or is out of the country) they can file a Direct Reimbursement Claim Form. The form may be downloaded from www.medco.com.
