larger font

On Tuesday, March 30, Bishop Burbidge will be celebrant and homilist at the annual Chrism Mass, which will be held at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary at 2:00 p.m. All priests serving in the Diocese will be present, joined by representatives from the 96 parishes and mission churches in the Diocese.

During the Mass, Bishop Burbidge will bless the Holy Oils and Sacred Chrism which will be used by parishes in the coming year for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Anointing of the Sick. Also, the clergy will publicly renew their promise to be faithful ministers of Word and Sacrament.

All are invited to attend this Diocesan liturgy.
