Fayetteville Deanery to Host January Holy Hour for Vocations
Each month, The Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge and Diocesan Vocations Director Father Ned Shlesinger celebrate a Holy Hour for Vocations in one of the Diocese’s eight deaneries. The January Holy Hour will be held at Saint Mary Church in Laurinburg, Friday, January 8, at 7:00 p.m. Faithful in the Fayetteville Deanery are invited to participate in the Holy Hour, which includes Benediction.
The Holy Hour for Vocations provides an opportunity to come together as a community to pray before the Blessed Sacrament for an increase in vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life. A reception will follow the Holy Hour.
Dates for the remaining Holy Hours are:
- February 5, 2010 (First Friday) – New Bern Deanery
- March 5, 2010 (First Friday) – Albemarle Deanery
- April 30, 2010 (Friday) – Cape Fear Deanery
