US Bishops Fall Meeting Available Online
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is holding its annual Fall Meeting in Baltimore November 16-18. The public sessions are available online courtesy of Telecare TV, the Catholic television station of the Diocese of Rockville Center, New York. It can be accessed at www.telecaretv.org. The public sessions are scheduled for Monday afternoon and Tuesday from 9:00AM-5:30PM with a break for lunch. Wednesday morning’s schedule is scheduled for 9:00 AM through noon.
Tuesday’s topics include discussion on the USCCB’s strategic objectives for the coming years, a report by the Committee for Protection of Children and Young People, a review on the Pastoral Letter on Marriage, “Marriage: Love and Life in the Divine Plan,” US adaptations to the Roman Missal, and a proposed revision to the document Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services, an update on the health care reform before Congress and a report on the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.
