Workshops Set for Parish Leadership on Sacred Triduum

The Diocesan Office of Divine Worship is offering a workshop in four locations of the Diocese for all involved in preparing the Sacred Triduum. Divine Worship Director Gerard Hall said the sessions are important to enrich the celebration of the liturgical services in light of the revised Roman Missal.

“Now that planners and parishioners have had the opportunity to experience the Roman Missal’s impact on the rites of the Triduum,” Mr. Hall said, “these workshops will allow further discussion and suggestions for understanding how the church keeps watch, remains in vigil, and moves to live out the Resurrection every day.”

The workshops will be held:

Saturday, January 26, 2013 – Immaculate Conception Church, Wilmington, 10am-12noon;

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 – Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Raleigh, 7pm – 9pm;

Tuesday, February 5, 2013 – Saint Ann Church, Fayetteville, 7pm-9pm; and

Thursday, February 7, 2013 – Saint Peter Church, Greenville, 7pm-9pm

The cost is $20.00. Those interested in attending are asked to register at least two weeks prior to their requested workshop. Registration information is available online (see link below) or by contacting the Office of Divine Worship at 919.832.6281.
