NC Catholics January/February Issue Available Online
The January/February 2013 issue of the NC Catholics is now available online. The cover story, titled “Be Not Afraid,” tells about a ministry emerging in the Diocese of Raleigh which offers pastoral care, grief education and hands-on support to parents faced with difficult prenatal diagnoses. In his monthly column, Bishop Burbidge writes about the ministries and challenges highlighted by the Church in January and February: Respect Life, Vocations Awareness, Christian Unity, Catholic Schools and the sacred season of Lent, which begins February 13. The January/February Parish Ministry Profile features the Justice Theater Project, which mounts theatrical productions to spark productive, respectful discourse around Catholic social teaching.
