The annual Diocesan Mass for Homeschool Families will take place Friday, December 7, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Raleigh at 10:30 a.m. The Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge will be Celebrant and Homilist.

The celebration is sponsored by the Association of Catholic Homeschoolers Raleigh (ARCH), Blessed John Paul the Greater Chapter. The mission of ARCH is to promote homeschooling among Catholic families and to support those families who are engaged in providing their children’s education at home. The foundation of ARCH activities and functions is fidelity to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church including its Bishops in union with Rome.

The group’s primary goals are:

  1. To strengthen our Catholic families.
  2. To promote and encourage Catholic values.
  3. To foster Catholic vocations.
  4. To teach the traditions and history of the Roman Catholic Church.
  5. To promote devotion to the Blessed Mother.
A reception will follow the Mass. For additional information, please contact Melissa Savage at 919-431-9883 or by email at arch-rsvp@nc.rr.com. To register go to: http://fs21.formsite.com/ARCHREG/form5/index.html.
