Scouting as part of the Total Youth Ministry program in the Diocese is a topic on this week’s editions of Catholic Perspective and Catholic Weekly, the Diocesan TV and radio programs. Fr. Scott McCue, diocesan scouting chaplain and pastor of St. Thomas More Church in Chapel Hill, discusses the scouting program and its mission.
Catholic Perspective also include an interview with Mrs. Linda Bedo, Director of the Diocesan Office of Marriage and Family Life, on registration for the upcoming annual Milestone Anniversary Mass.
In addition to Fr. McCue’s interview, Catholic Weekly features Bishop Michael F. Burbidge’s homily from his 10th Anniversary Mass of Ordination as Bishop. The program also begins a regular feature in which an online or on-air listener can enter to win a Catholic book. This week’s book is “Walking the Little Way of Therese of Lisieux."
