On Saturday, June 2, 2012, the Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge will celebrate a Mass of Ordination to the Priesthood for Deacon Don Maloney. Deacon Maloney has completed his course of study at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia and has been recommended for ordination by the Rector and staff of St. Charles Borromeo and by Diocesan Vocations Director Fr. Ned Shlesinger to Bishop Burbidge. The Bishop has accepted their recommendation.

Upon his ordination, Bishop Burbidge has announced that the newly ordained priest will be assigned to Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Raleigh as Parochial Vicar.
