Deadline for Summer Retreat Extended
The deadline has been extended for “Come to the Water: Feasting on Jesus’ Fish Stories,” a summer retreat scheduled for July 19-22 at Trinity Center in Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina. The Center is located between the Atlantic Ocean and Bogue Sound. The deadline for registration is now Monday, July 11.
Presenters for the retreat, offered by the Diocese of Raleigh, are Sr. Rose Adams, IHM, Executive Director of Catholic Formation and Evangelization for the Diocese of Raleigh, and Mrs. Gladys Whitehouse, Coordinator of Evangelization at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Raleigh.
The retreat will provide adults the opportunity for time away to focus on the Scripture stories told by Jesus and how they speak to us in our lives. The morning sessions will include a presentation and prayer. The afternoons will allow retreatants the opportunity for personal reflection.
The cost of the retreat is $240 for a double room and $300 for a single (per person). For more information and to register, please email Holly.firstname.lastname@example.org or additional information and registration are available on the Diocesan web site. http://www.dioceseofraleigh.org/docs/calendar/event_2299.pdf
