Bishop Burbidge to Serve on Advisory Board
The Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge has accepted an invitation to serve on the Advisory Board of Priests for Life, the largest Catholic ministry focused on ending abortion and euthanasia. In its mission statement, Priests for Life cites as one of its key goals to "unite, encourage, and provide ongoing training to priests and deacons who give a special emphasis to the 'life issues,' especially abortion and euthanasia, in their ministries."
In accepting the invitation, Bishop Burbidge said, "I have always admired the zeal and dedication of Father Frank Pavone, National Director of the ministry, and the great work of Priests for Life. I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors and will help in any way possible to advance its mission: assisting God's people to proclaim, celebrate and serve the Gospel of Life."
