Diocese raises $132,000 for international humanitarian relief

Each year, the parishes of the Diocese of Raleigh take up a collection for Catholic Relief Services (CRS), which is the international humanitarian aid and relief arm of the U.S. Catholic Church. In 2015, the Diocese of Raleigh took up a collection of $132,205 for CRS.
This collection supports six Catholic agencies whose programs provide legal support services for poor immigrants, resettlement for victims of persecution, peace and reconciliation work, and advocacy on behalf of the powerless.
