Diocesan group prepares for World Youth Day Krakow


On Sunday, July 24, 2016, a group of 48 people from throughout the Diocese of Raleigh will depart for Krakow, Poland.

These pilgrims, who are teens, young adults and adult chaperones, will participate in the 14th World Youth Day. In addition to attending WYD festivities and Mass with Pope Francis, they will visit numerous shrines, landmarks and holy sites.

The Diocese asks the faithful to please keep these pilgrims in their prayers. Special intentions are welcome and may be sent via email to Michael Bayer, senior director of youth and young adult ministry at
