2013 Broadcast Message: Bringing Jesus' Presence to All

12/10/13

To bring the presence of the Christ Child to others, especially those most in need, is the theme of this year’s annual Advent greeting by Bishop Michael F. Burbidge, currently being broadcast on several television and radio stations throughout the Diocese of Raleigh.

The 30-second spot is broadcast several times each day on stations in the Triangle, in the New Bern-Greenville-Washington market, Wilmington Time-Warner News 14 channel and on CNN and Fox News Channels on Time-Warner Cable systems in the Diocese. The message is also being carried on several radio stations in the diocese, including four along the Outer Banks and Elizabeth City area.

Funding for the Advent greeting is made possible through parishioner donations to the annual Catholic Communication Campaign collection taken up in May of each year.
