About Youth Ministry
Inspired by the US Catholic Conference of Bishops' vision of a comprehensive Youth Ministry (Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry, USCC, 1997), the Youth Ministry Office of the Diocese of Raleigh offers:
- A wide range of training, such as the Youth Ministry Certificate Program, how-to seminars, and more;
- Resources, including the Youth Ministers' Institute and publisher information;
- Consulting in the form of parish visits, deanery liaisons, phone and e-mail support;
- Programs that include Youth Convention, Jamboree, Search, Back To Earth, Connections, Challenge, and more
Our programs assist youth, adults, and parishes in their efforts at effectively ministering with adolescents in grades 6-12.
