  • We would like to thank those within the diaconate community serving on the Deacon Community Board of the Diocese of Raleigh whom have been appointed by Bishop Burbidge. Those board members are: Deacon William Cortright, Mrs. Mary Ellen Cortright, Deacon Juan Henriquez, Mrs. Linda Hoffert, Deacon Orlando Pérez, Deacon George C. Stonikinis, Jr., Deacon Hector Velazco, Deacon Michael Walsh, and Deacon Jorge Rodriguez.
  • Deacon Felix Saez, Jr. is the assistant director for the Office of the Permanent Diaconate, and Mrs. Amy Breindel is the secretary for the Office of the Permanent Diaconate. You can contact either of them at (919) 658-4023. 
  • As of July 8, 2008, Fr. James F. Garneau was appointed Director of the Office of the Permanant Diaconate. The offices have been relocated to Mount Olive, NC.
