• As of July 8, 2008, Fr. James F. Garneau was appointed new Director of the Office of the Permanant Diaconate. He has hired Mr. Eric T. Brown as his administrative assistant. The offices have been relocated to Mount Olive, NC.
• November 8, 2008 will be a day of discernment for any Catholic man interesed in becoming a candidate for the Permanant Diaconate. This retreat day will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mount Olive, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A $10.00 offering will be requested from each participant. Lunch will be provided. Location: St. Mary Catholic Church, 313 West Main St., Mount Olive, NC 28365. Please register by contacting Mr. Eric Brown (contact information below).
