Bi-lingual case manager. Temporary, full-time position (through December 2010) at Centro La Comunidad in Burlington, NC. Provide case management/family support services to the Latino population in Alamance County. Position will provide direct services to individuals and families; conduct pre-K assessments; refer families for appropriate resources; coordinate financial literacy education and goal-directed work with families; facilitate support group and other group activities.

Required qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, or related human services degree (related life experience may substitute for degree); bi-lingual (in Spanish/English) writing and speaking proficiency; competency in family-centered and social systems approach; experience with cultural/ethnic diversity; excellent interpersonal skills; basic computer skills; skills in empowerment strategies; knowledge of and commitment to Catholic social teachings and the mission of Catholic Charities. Bilingual Clinical Counselor (English and Spanish). Catholic Charities’ Durham and Raleigh offices are seeking a FT bi-lingual clinical counselor to provide individual, couple, family and group counseling services. The clinical counselor will work half-time in the Durham office and half-time in the Raleigh office, with some evening hours required.

A Master’s Degree in a mental health/counseling field is required; LCSW preferred.

Candidates with at least two years of full-time clinical counseling practice are preferred.
