The Billings Ovulation Method of Natural Family Planning wasdeveloped by Drs. John and Evelyn Billings of Melbourne,Australia. Their research began in 1953 and continues todayparticularly in Australia, Spain and Sweden.
The Billings OvulationMethod is taught and used in over 120 countries worldwide and has an effectiveness rate of 99.15 percent in postponing pregnancy when couples are taught by a certified teacher, understand the method and follow the guidelines correctly. Studies show that when used to achieve pregnancy, conception will occur 70 percent of the time during the first cycle of trying.
