Level III Formation Course - Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - Level III Formation Course for working with the 9 - 12 year old child.
Registration Deadline: September 15, 2010
Registration fee: $50. Course fee $500.
Registration fee will be waived for members of the National Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. (See brochure regarding financial assistance.)
Level III bulds on the foundation of Level I and II courses. The focus of Level III is the plan of God throughout Salavation History.
Sessions will be held Friday evenings from 6 -9 pm and Saturdays from 9 am - 5 pm.

Onsite Catechetical Institute Courses commence after Catechetical Sunday (9/19) in selected deanery sites throughout the diocese.
Courses available: Introduction to Liturgy, The Creed, and A Catholic Understanding of Scripture.
Available in both English and Spanish.
Cost: Registration fee $20, plus textbook.

Connecting Catholic Families with the Bible
Don’t miss this opportunity to get strategies, program ideas and resources for connecting your parish families with the Word of God. The workshop will provide ideas for engaging families with the Word at the parish; resources for families to break open and be transformed by the Word at home; ways of implementing the vision of the Synod on the Word of God in the Life and Mission of the Church; practical ways for all ministries to pray with, learn from, and be inspired by the Word. The workshop is for leaders in: Faith Formation/Catechesis, RCIA and Sacramental Preparation, Youth Ministry, Preaching, Family Ministry, Evangelization, Bible Study Groups.
Cost of the workshop is $49, which includes lunch and a handout packet rich in practical ideas and resources. Please register before October 30.
